The images below were taken in preparation of the work. The older brother (left) was quite serious. He positioned his baseball cap carefully on his knee without direction and sat straight up as he posed. The younger brother on the right was wiggly and boisterous. I chose slightly contrasting faces rather than two broad smiles, to give the finished work more personality. Take a look at the portrait below and see what you think.
